Gary Blissett The third generation of this Family business. He has worked with the company since 1971 and trained in all aspects of binding. Today he looks after the sales and marketing of the company and travels extensively advising on solutions and all aspects of binding. A trained binder who unfortunately does not get to practice his skills much these days!

Chris Blissett Joined the company in September 2009 and becomes the fourth generation to join this family business.

Though Chris will be involved in all aspects of the business, his main focus at this time is the development of our new photo book service, both on the technical side and sales and marketing. He also oversees the help desk for photo books and year books and is also involved in certain aspects of overseeing the bindery.

Mark Thompson is the bindery manager and has been with the company since 1987. Mark learned bookbinding with Blissetts and has been in charge of the bindery since 1997 with day to day responsibility of all incoming work, training of staff and improvement of systems to ensure a smooth work flow to high standards.

Dieter Rader re-joined the company in 2008 as conservation and restoration manager after working here between the years of 1983 and 1988, then working in his own Fine Binding Company for 20 years. His knowledge of the fine art of bookbinding and conservation and restoration is vast and he is in charge of the day to day running of this section of the bindery.

Bob Ledger has been a mainstay of Blissetts for 30 years and now works part time. These days he is mostly engaged on specialist work and training of our staff. Though semi retired, he remains a senior member of our team and works closely with visitors to the bindery and helps with inhouse training of our customers.
